Our Story Section

The Norase Foundation is a non-profit and non-denominational organization committed to empowering and supporting the community. It is a legacy of love, born from two profound losses that revealed a shared purpose. It began with the devastating loss of our niece, Norase Tembo Mwale MHSRIP, a vibrant young girl whose joy and spirit were deeply rooted in her beloved Girls Brigade. Her memory became our guiding light to help other young girls.

Shortly after, the founder’s personal journey of enduring four miscarriages unveiled the silent, isolating grief that follows pregnancy loss. In the midst of our own pain, we saw a clear need for the same compassion and support we were craving.

These intertwined experiences—the memory of a cherished girl and the pain of pregnancies lost—forged our mission. Norase Foundation is more than a name; it is our promise to honour her love for the Girls Brigade by empowering young girls and to channel our grief into a sanctuary for others walking the path of pregnancy loss. Our work is their legacy, built on practical support, emotional care, and unwavering hope
